Robert Bullington recorded, mixed and mastered my album Guru Dev. I chose Robert because I was looking for a live recording with audience that will capture the live sound. Robert’s acoustic studio seemed to be the right environment to create this sound. Robert worked hand in hand with me and my band, during all stages of the project, and inspired us with his enthusiasm and excellent advice. His phenomenal technical expertise, skillful and sensitive mixing, brought out the best in our music, and created a product that much exceeded my expectations. I will definitely work with Robert again.
Bringing my daughter to Front Row Seat Productions for her pre-screen recording turned out to be a very smart move. When I saw the "express audition package" advertised on the studio website, I was reassured that the project would be affordable and delivered on time to meet the very tight deadlines we were working against. Our experience at the studio only reinforced that impression. One of the toughest things about making a recording is engaging a competent pianist. Mr. Bullington had an extensive list of wonderful pianists in his area who were available for recordings. Furthermore, he created a professional and supportive environment which allowed my daughter to record an honest, professional demo that opened many doors. Every school to which we sent the recording got back to us, and my daughter was eventually accepted to several prestigious music schools. We are extremely grateful to Front Row Seat Productions for their caring and meticulous work on our behalf and would recommend them without hesitation.

I can highly recommend Robert Bullington and Front Row Seat Productions. I recorded five pieces in August of 2008 and I was very pleased with the finished recording. The studio is a lovely place to sing - live, but not overly so. I also love that piano. It has a warm tone that is especially complementary to singers, I think. All my pianist friends like it, too.
Even more important than the studio is the engineer. I really appreciate that Robert has an educated musician's ear. Classical music in particular demands an attention to detail, and I was comfortable that Rob wouldn't just say "Good enough." I had two great concerns before the recording. First, I have a sizable voice and I was concerned that I would have to change the way I sing to be recordable. I need not have worried. Rob took time to make sure that we were using the best mic for my voice and that the mic placement was just right. My other concern was that the recording would accurately sound like me. The consensus of my colleagues is that is does.
Making my recording was a very enjoyable collaborative artistic experience. I look forward to working with Robert Bullington again in the future.

If you are a musician and looking to make a professional recording I highly recommend working with Robert Bullington of Front Row Seat Productions. During the recording process he provided a professional and laid back atmosphere which made me feel comfortable. In addition Mr. Bullington is fantastic to work with because he really cares about what he is doing and he stays up late hours to make sure recordings have as professional a sound as possible. Also, he will enhance tracks so that they sound good on computers and websites. Personally I will be using Mr. Bullington's services again.
