Golandsky Institute publishes clips from Ilya Itin’s performance at their 10th Annual International Piano Festival

The festival celebrates piano masterworks and brings students, teachers and professional pianists together to hear wonderful music and hone their craft. Front Row Seat Productions is honored to have captured and preserved these wonderful performances in 2012 and 2013. Three selections from faculty member Ilya Itin’s critically acclaimed performance were recently released by the Institute:

Debussy: Clair de Lune
Debussy: Preludes, Book 2
Rachmaninoff: Prelude, Op. 32 No. 5

The Golandsky Institute was established in 2003 by Edna Golandsky, John Bloomfield, Robert Durso and Mary Moran to bring high-level training in the Taubman Approach to the musical community.

Joe and Paul Midiri interviewed for December edition of Jazz Discoveries

The Midiri Brothers have made music, both jazz and clasical, the focus of their lives since graduating Glassboro State College in the mid 1980s. On recordings they can be heard leading groups ranging from trios, quintets, sextets and big bands all featuring Joe’s outstanding Clarinet and saxophones and Paul on the vibraphone, xylophone, marimba, drums and trombone.

September 2013 Edition of Jazz Discoveries

This edition features the Jazz Bridge Project, a greater Philadelphia charity that raises money through a series of live Jazz Concerts and then uses the funds to help musicians in crisis. One the organization’s founders, Suzanne Cloud introduces tracks from a cross-section of this season’s performers.  Also featured are tracks and an interview from Trenton’s own Tommy Gryce.
