I have been involved with theatrical and film endeavors for half a century and in those years have encountered many and diverse talents in all phases of these wonderful activities. But never have I worked with such a multi-faceted and highly intelligent talent like Robert Bullington. At heart a superlative vocal and musical performer, his innate artistic sensitivity to all things expressive permeates everything he does at Front Row Seat Productions. Over the years I have seen him effortlessly master the technical requirements of film and sound reproduction to become an extremely informed resource for both the artistic and informative needs of his clients. I would highly recommend him and his company for whatever are your artistic or commercial needs. The members of trio@play very much enjoy working with Robert Bullington at Front Row Seat Productions because he possesses the qualities of a great recording engineer in spades! His collaborative nature makes him comfortable having clients involved in every step of the recording process, which is very important to us. Recording sessions can be potentially quite stressful, but Robert’s sense of humor and the relaxed environment he creates in the studio allow us to do our best work under pressure. As the the director of the Schola Cantorum Youth Choir of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Metuchen, NJ. I have worked with Robert Bullington of Front Row Seat Productions for two years in a row as the recording engineer for our CD. Robert has been very sensitive to the sound of our choir and the needs of the children. His background as both a solo and choral singer have been invaluable in helping the children understand the nuances of singing for a recording. Recently, I approached Robert to help me with a problem – how to take a project recorded in 1995, bring it up to date (sound-wise), record new tunes (with a HD video), and make the whole thing sound like it really belonged together on a CD. Well, Robert did it without a second thought.
